Ruth V. Schupbach, 58, of Dover, died Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland following a yearlong illness.Born in Coshocton County, she was the daughter of the late Walter R. and Edith Rowe Levengood. She was formerly employed at Elasto-Tec in Walnut Creek and was a member of the Dover Moose, the Dover Eagles and the Dover Army-Navy Garrison. She loved to spend time with her family, play cards, listen to country music and care for her pet bird Buddy. Ruth was hoping for the time to see her family again. She knew the Bible indicates that it is possible to be reunited with your loved ones in the near future, not in an unknown Heaven, but right here on Earth under peaceful, righteous conditions. At that time, humans will have the prospect of enjoying perfect health and they will never have to die again. (Psalms 37:29)Surviving are two daughters, Tina Stein of New Philadelphia and Theresa Landis of Dundee; four grandchildren, Dale, Bryce, Carla and Aaron; a great granddaughter, Kaylee; five sisters, Pauline (Carl) Welling of Strasburg, Caroline Brown of West Lafayette, Nona (Wayne) Domer of West Lafayette, Ann Wilson of Springfield, Missouri and Betty Lou Miller of Newcomerstown; two brothers, Walter (Anna) Levengood of Dover and Jerry Levengood of New Philadelphia and her companion, Jim Wallace of Dover. Two brothers and a granddaughter are deceased.A Memorial service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2002 at 5:00 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home with her brother, Jerry Levengood officiating. A reception will be held Sunday, February 2, 2003 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dundee Grill in Dundee. Following the reception, burial will be at Halifax Cemetery near Baltic.
