Ruth M. Mason

Ruth M. Mason, 81, of New Philadelphia, died Sunday, September 25, 2005 at Union Hospital in Dover.A daughter of the late Robert L. and Millie (Roadman) Morris, Ruth was born June 18, 1924 in Ligonier, Pennsylvania.On December 24, 1947, she married Paul E. Mason whom passed away August 13, 2004.Ruth, who was a member of the New Philadelphia Church of Christ, retired from the Tuscarawas County Home after 23 years of service.She is survived by two sons, Doyle E. Mason of New Philadelphia and Edwin J. Mason of New Philadelphia; three grandchildren, Robert (Jill) Mason, Gary (Andriena) Mason and Scott (Renee) Mason; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Rena Gallentine of Dellroy and Tharon White of Indian Head, Pennsylvania.Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul, an infant son, Evan Mason, and one brother and two sisters.Visitation will be Tuesday, September 27, 2005 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Evangelist Robert Main officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Burial Park in Canton.Memorial contributions may be made to the Ruth M. Mason Memorial Fund.
