Ruby Harriet Burrier, 93, of Painesville, Ohio, and formerly of New Philadelphia, Ohio, died on August 30, 2004 at her daughter’s home.Ruby was born on August 21, 1911 in Dover, Ohio to the late Andrew Nelson and Lillie Timmerman Nelson. She was a member of the First Christian Church in New Philadelphia where at one time she would ride the street car to church from her home in Dover. Ruby was a homemaker and was also a Cub Scout Den Mother. She loved to Garden and was also very supportive of her husband, the late Earl R. Burrier, who was a long time employee of the Tuscarawas county Farm Bureau.Ruby is survived by her loving children, Lynne (Sandy) Burrier of Louisville, Ohio, Lowell (Sheryl) Burrier of Auburn, Washington and Betty (Phillip) Misch of Painesville, Ohio. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Stacey (Tom) Fischer, Kelley (Dave) Uridel, Jeremy (Julia)Burrier, Joel Burrier, Joshua Burrier, David Scribner, Ryan Scribner, Lila Jenkins, Andrew Gardner, Rochelle Misch, Nathan Gardner, Brett Misch and Blake Misch as well as seven great-grandchildren and one nephew, James (Elaine) Nelson of Reynoldsburg, Ohio.She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Lillie Timmerman Nelson and her husband Earl R. Burrier, whom she married on December 7, 1940. Also preceding her in death were four brothers.A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2004 at 11:00AM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home in New Philadelphia with Pastor Jim Borton officiating. Burial will be held in Evergreen Burial Park in New Philadelphia. A reception will be held at the Geib Family Center immediately following the committal service. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 3, 2004 from 6:00 to 9:00PM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and again one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday.The family requests that memorial contributions be made in Ruby’s name to Hospice of The Western Reserve, 300 East 185th Street, Cleveland, OH 44119
