Ruben “Bill” Huddleston, 82, of Uhrichsville, has gone to rest high on that mountain on June 4, 2024 at Ohio's LifeCare Hospice – Truman House following a period of declining health.
Born in Sexton, Kentucky, Bill was the son of the late William C. and Cora Lee (Osborn) Huddleston and had retired from Semco Ceramics at Uhrichsville where he had worked as a Kiln Fireman for over 39 years and he was also associated with Roxford Church at Dennison.
On November 15, 1962, Bill married Brenda Kay (Shackelford) Huddleston and together they shared over 61 years of marriage before his passing. Together, they were blessed with the birth of their only son, Chris Huddleston.
In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by Kelly, Becky, Liza, Alannah and Mason; his siblings, Larry, Nancy, Faye, Marilyn, Earl and Ricky as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Teddy and Freddy.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation care is to be provided by the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia and a Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 1 PM in Roxford Church Cemetery at Dennison with Brother Jim Manbeck officiating.
The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to either Roxford Church, 771 Roxford Church Road SE, Dennison, Ohio 44621, or, Ohio’s LifeCare Hospice – Truman House, 716 Commercial Avenue SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio.
