Growing up in such a large household, she learned at a young age the importance of family togetherness. A homemaker her entire life, the family could always count on Roselene to be baking, canning, or preparing a special meal. Later in life, she took great joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her two sons and a daughter, Ronald and his wife Dianna Lowery and Larry and his wife Crystal Lowery all of Dover, and Darla Lowery and her companion Jean Ross of Louisville; five grandchildren; Derek and Devan Lowery of Dover, and Brenden, Mason, and Madison Lowery also of Dover. Mrs. Lowery’s family also includes four brothers; Herbert and Wilbur Clapper of Malvern, Donald and his wife Katherine of East Canton, and Kenneth Clapper of Florida, three sisters; Sarah and her husband Floyd Marshall of Alliance, Norma and her husband Dave Decker of Malvern, and Hazel and her husband Earl Roosa of Toledo, and a brother-in-law; Ray Bobo of Malvern. Roselene spent forty-five years married to the love of her life, the late Everett Lowery. The two were married May 28, 1954, and he preceded her in death on November 17, 1999. Amidst the sadness of this loss, there is joy that the couple are once again united. In addition to her parents and husband, Roselene was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Bobo. Friends are invited to call Wednesday afternoon from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Geib Funeral Center, 5600 North Wooster Avenue at Dover and one hour prior to services Thursday morning at the church.
