Rose Ann Faulkner

Rose Ann Faulkner, age 82, of New Philadelphia passed away Friday, November 15, 2013 following a period of declining health.

A daughter of the late Harry and Rose Ann (Bennett) Lester Vaughn, Rose was born at East Palestine, Ohio on March 30, 1931.

She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to country music, working puzzles and playing cards.

She is survived by eight children, Mary Jane Forsythe, Cathy (Adam) Pickens, Marie (Bud) Stiffler, Diane (Ed) Campbell, and Wilma Maenz, Robert (Cheryl) Faulkner, Jon (Kathy) Faulkner and George (Nancy) Faulkner; 28 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. “Tip” Faulkner; 4 brothers, 1 sister, and 3 half-brothers.

A service celebrating Rose’s life will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, November 19 beginning at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia.
