Rosa Lee Wilhelm, age 57, of New Philadelphia, died peacefully Tuesday afternoon, July 3, 2007, in Aultman Hospital at Canton. A daughter of Jaunita Stover Dunbar of Beckley, West Virginia, and the late Clifford Dunbar, Rosa Lee was born at Beckley on August 4, 1949. She graduated high school at Clear Creek, West Virginia.For the past ten years Rosa Lee served as the head cook at Park Village Health Care Center at Dover. She was an active member of Jerusalem Church where her family has worshipped since locating to this area in 1976. Rosa Lee was a shy and unassuming person who took great care to place the needs of others in front of her own. The learned to be a gifted caregiver by watching her own mother work with residents of a nursing home. Rosa Lee was most proud of her role as a homemaker. She lovingly cared for her husband, Gary Wilhelm, of New Philadelphia. Together they reared two daughters; Lori Wilhelm of Dayton, and Kelli (husband David) Wagner of Massillon. A brother Toby (wife Pam) Dunbar of Clear Creek, West Virginia, and her father and mother-in-law Everette at Wanda Wilhelm of Xenia, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews complete the family. Friends are invited to call Friday from 2-4 and from 6-8 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. The Rev. Dr. Terry Downin will officiate the Wilhelm funeral Saturday morning at 10AM in Jerusalem Church, 1417 Stonecreek Road SW New Philadelphia. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Following the committal service, a reception will be given for family and friends in the church fellowship hall.
