Ronald “Sonny” Sundall

Ronald Ray “Sonny” Sundall, 64, of Gnadenhutten, died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at his home.

A son of the late Kenneth and Mary (Shuey) Sundall, Sonny was born February 7, 1954 at Boone, Iowa.

For the last 16 years, Sonny has been employed at Allied Machine & Engineering at Dover as the Safety Manager. He was an avid golfer and especially enjoyed golfing at Five Waters Golf Course and was also a fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, the Iowa State Cyclones, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Minnesota Vikings.

He is survived by his wife, Suzie (Mowery) Sundall whom he met in June of 2000 and later married on September 23, 2008; a brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Lynn Sundall of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his mother-in-law, Joyce Deckrosh of Fresno; and his fur babies, his dog, Rossi and cats, Gideon and Prentiss.

In keeping with Sonny’s wishes, cremation will take place through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A memorial service celebrating Sonny’s life will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 4 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia with Pastor Brian Flood officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-4 PM the funeral home.
