Ronald G. Sandoval

Ronald G. Sandoval, 60, of West Lafayette, died Thursday, January 16, 2014 in Coshocton County Memorial Hospital following a period of declining health.
A son of the late Sam and Esther (Sanchez) Sandoval, Ron was born December 29, 1953 at Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Ron graduated from Highland High School at Albuquerque in 1971 and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was the coach of the former T-County Warriors Semi Pro Football team and he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by a daughter, Alana (Laurence) Bennington and their children, Annalie Sandoval and Trinity Bennington of New Philadelphia; a son, Lucas (Lori) Sandoval and their daughter, Lily Sandoval of New Philadelphia; two brothers, Richard (Esther) Sandoval and Benny (Eddie) Sandoval both of Albuquerque, New Mexico and many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Ron’s wishes there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.

The family suggests contributions be made in Ron’s memory to AMVETS, 220 1st Drive SW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
