Roger Dana Corpman

Roger Dana Corpman, 52, of New Philadelphia died Friday, May 30, 2008 in Mercy Medical Center at Canton.A son of the late Walter E. Corpman and the late Ila L. (Edwards) Nedved, Roger was born, June 19, 1955 in Union Hospital at Dover, Ohio.A graduate of Indian Valley North High School, Roger was an avid outdoorsman and he especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also had a passion for eating and any uneaten food was considered fair game to him.He is survived by his companion, Carol Meek of New Philadelphia; three brothers, Robert A. Corpman of Somerdale, Ohio, Terry G. Corpman of Sacramento, California and Victor L. (Harriett May) Corpman of Dover; his nieces, Tina and Renee Corpman; Shelley (Chris) Jones and Paula (Kapus) Sakala; his nephews, Paul Davis and Lynn, Kevin and Kyle Corpman and several great nieces and great nephews.Roger will also be sadly missed by his buddy, his faithful cat, Morris.Roger was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Shirley J. Davis; a brother, Walter F. Corpman and a nephew, Barry Davis.Family and friends may call on Monday, June 2, 2008 from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service celebrating Roger’s life will follow at 3 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Chapel with Rev. Hugh Berry officiating.
