What should I say about my life:
I was born on the twenty first day of January in the year of our Lord Nineteen hundred Fifty Five to Conrad L. and Nancy L. Hanks. I had two amazing sons, Rodney L. Hanks, Jr. and Kyle L. Hanks. I loved to work on cars, fish at Clendening Lake, and my dog, Beetle (I’m always by your side buddy). I was never for small talk but know my heart was with yours. A quiet man that exuded energy: that “love or hate” relationship. I want to send yens all my love and know that “tomorrow is another day”. I always worked hard and was happy to do so to provide for those that I loved. I wish my sis, Lucinda, the best.
To all my family and friends: I love you!

In Time of Sorrow…
May you see God’s light on the path ahead
When the road you walk is dark.
May you always hear,
Even in your hour of sorrow,
The gentle singing of the lark.
When times are hard may hardness
Never turn your heart to stone,
May you always remember
when the shadows fall –
You do not walk alone.
