Robert L. Airgood

Robert L. Airgood, Sr. 78, of New Philadelphia, died early Thursday morning, July 7, 2005 in Union Hospital at Dover. Robert, who was a graduate of Huntington High School in Huntington, Indiana, was born on November 21, 1926 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.He was an avid stamp collector having been a past president of the Tuscarawas County Stamp Collector’s Club. Robert also had a passion for photography. He enjoyed watching many different New Philadelphia Quaker sporting events as well.He is survived by one daughter, Cheryl (Nick) Incarnato of New Philadelphia; one son, Robert (Barbara) Airgood, II; five grandchildren, Tiffanie (Jeff) Cook of Columbus, Nicholas (Stephanie) Incarnato, IV of Columbus, Christie (Wes) Locke of Dover, Jamie (Seth) Thomas of Strasburg and Robby Airgood of New Philadelphia; and six great-grandchildren, Nicholas Incarnato, V, Grayson Cook, Sophia Cook, Leah Locke, Hannah Locke and Aubrey Thomas.Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Maude (Lamb) Airgood and one granddaughter, Rachelle Airgood.There will be no public calling hours or services observed and cremation will be conducted by the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory.Memorial contributions may be made in Robert’s name to the American Diabetes Association, 1815 West Market Street, Suite 108, Akron, OH 44313.
