Robert F. Clark Jr., 69, of 122 Mill St. NW in Sugarcreek, passed away October 11, 2003 after an extended illness. Born in Holmesville, he was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in Germany as a Generals Translator; he was retired from the Timken Company and had also worked for Nickles Bakery for 20 years. After his retirement, he worked part time at Sugarlane IGA. He was a member of Commercial Avenue Church of Christ in New Philadelphia, member of Sugarcreek Sportsmans Club and the Steelworkers union. Bob also enjoyed collecting comic books and going to flea markets.Preceded in death by his father Robert F. Clark Sr., he is survived by his wife Juanita E. (King) Clark, Mother Dorothea E. (Scherer) Clark, Children, Jerry (Linda) Clark of Springdale, Robert F. Clark III of Dover, Christine (Andrew) Facklam of Uhrichsville and Janet (Tim) Dummermuth of Sugarcreek; Grandchildren, Joel and Ben Clark, Mercedes Clark, Lucas and Carly Dummermuth, and Jonathan and Tony Facklam; sister Ada (Jerry) Dickerson-Thatcher of Hebron, Ohio, and Brothers, Clarence (June) Clark of Dover and Earl Clark of Sugarcreek.Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday October 14, 2003 at 1:00 PM at the Smith-Geib Funeral Home in Sugarcreek with Minister Tim Hatfield officiating. Burial will take place at East Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 Pm Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holmes County or to Commercial Avenue Church of Christ.
