Robert E. Beavers

Robert E. Beavers, 64, of New Philadelphia, passed away in his residence on February 10, 2016.

Born in Dover on December 19, 1951, he was the son of Charles Robert and Geraldine Charlotte (Headley) Beavers of Carrollton. After completing his GED with the former Buckeye Joint Vocational School, Bob served as a laborer throughout his professional career.

On Mary 30, 1975, he married the former Evelyn Sue Duhamel. Together, they enjoyed long car rides and a devoted marriage for more than 40 years.

Bob’s interests included fishing, old motorcycles and cars, spending time with his family, collecting guns, and going to the races in Magnolia.

In addition to his parents and wife, Bob is survived by his sons, Shawn (Shannon) Beavers and Robert (Amber) Beavers, both of New Philadelphia; his grandson, Brandon J. Beavers; and his siblings, Rick (Kathy) Beavers of Carrollton and Becky (Chris) Hanes of Bluffton, South Carolina.

No public visitation or services are scheduled at this time. Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory is handling Bob’s cremation care.
