Robert D. Breeding

Robert D. Breeding, age 83, of Dover passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2010 in Park Village Health Care Center at Dover following a period of declining health.Born in Uhrichsville, O. on September 1, 1927, he was the son of the late Stanley J. and Susie Belle (Drybread) Breeding.Robert worked for The Gradall Co. as a product designer throughout his career.Robert formerly attended The First United Methodist Church in New Philadelphia and the Nimmo First Methodist Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia.He is survived by his son Russell (Emily) Breeding ; his grandchildren, Jessica (Michael) Schultz and Richard Breeding; great-grandchildren, Rachel and Tommy; and his nephews, Jay (Carol) Breeding and James (Patty) Breeding.Three step-sons, Donn (Freya) Lee, David (Tammy) Lee, and Eric (Sherri) Lee; one step-daughter, Elinor Cunniff; step-grandchildren, Kristen (Michael), Tyler and Shelby; and step-great-grandchildren, Dalton, Kaitlyn and Parker all of Virginia Beach, Virginia, complete the family.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary M. Breeding who preceded him on November 19, 1996; and his second wife, Elinor “Todd” Breeding who preceded him on December 8, 2008; and his daughter, Elaine Breeding-Bunn who preceded him on July 8, 2008.Cremation will be handled through the care of Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory. A memorial service will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home chapel on Saturday, December 18, 2010 beginning at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Steven Bailey officiating. A memorial service at the Nimmo United Methodist Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia will take place at a later date.
