Robert B. Devore

Robert B. Devore, 75, of Uhrichsville, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 in Aultman Hospital at Canton, Ohio.

A son of the late Lawrence M. and Martha M. (Cole) Devore, Robert was born May 4, 1941 at Harrison County, Ohio.

Robert enjoyed his life in retirement. He liked to relax while watching television with his family, as well as his dog, Bingo. In his earlier years, he enjoyed woodworking and making crafts to sell in local stores.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Jean (Coulson) Devore, whom he married on August 23, 1959; two sons, Blaine (Cindy) Devore and Mark (Jennifer Mullins) Devore; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; two sisters, Grace (Earl) Lhmeres and Marsha (Kenneth) Braun; a son-in-law, John Spano.

In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Spano and his brother, Jimmy.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, there will be no public calling hours or services, and cremation care will be handled through the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 4pm in the VFW Hall in Tuscarawas.
