Rita T. Neiger

Rita T. Neiger, age 85, of Marion, OH., formerly of New Philadelphia, died Saturday, July 23, 2011, in Marion Manor at Marion.A daughter of the late Michael and Margaret Ronan Endres, Rita was born in New Philadelphia on May 31, 1926She attended the St. Joseph School in Dover and was a graduate of New Philadelphia High School. On July 6, 1946, Rita married Marion Neiger. The couple shared 64 years together prior to his death on April 21, 2011.Rita was a member of Sacred Heart Church, a wonderful cook, enjoyed gardening and crocheting, and spending time with her family.Survivors include her daughters, Margaret (John) Ledrich of Massillon and Kathy (Allan) Brinkman of Marion, OH; grandsons, John Marion (Carrie) Debevec of Canton and Adam (Brandi) Brinkman, of Marion, OH; a sister, Betty Lutz, of Joshua, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents and husband, Rita was preceded in death by six sisters.The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, from 6:00 Â? 8:00 p.m. in the Linn-Hert Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Deacon Michael Thomas, Rita’s nephew, will lead her service on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home’s chapel. Burial will be beside her husband in Calvary Cemetery at New Philadelphia.
