Richard L. Staley

Richard L. Staley, 74, of Bolivar and formerly of New Philadelphia, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024, in Hennis Care Centre at Bolivar, following a period of declining health.

Born in Dover, Richard was the son of the late Francis H. and Grace (Malis) Staley and following his graduation from high school, began a long career with and eventually retired from the Timken Company at Canton.

Richard is survived by his cousin, Delmer (Sue) Staley of West Virginia and in addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his brother, Francis H. Staley, Jr.

In keeping with his wishes, a graveside service will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024 at 2 PM in Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia with Pastor Brian Flood officiating. The Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home at New Philadelphia has been entrusted with his service arrangements.
