A son of the late Ralph and Mary (Gowins) Everett, Dick was born in Union Hospital at Dover on August 18, 1932.

Dick had a passion for restoring antique trucks and rebuilding motors. He was known to help anyone who asked and was fortunate enough to attend over 30 Indianapolis 500 races. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and socializing with friends at the New Philadelphia Am Vets, where he held a life membership. He also was a past member of both the Tuscarawas and New Philadelphia VFW Clubs.

(Sherry) Everett, and Terry Everett; two grandchildren, Richard (Jennifer) Everett, II and Rachael (Tommy) Cannon; three great-grandchildren, Stella, Talyn and T.C; and a sister, Sally Beitzel all of New Philadelphia.
