Richard Andrew “Drew” Hutchison, 29, of Mineral City, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021.
A son of Richard Hutchison and Terry Barbee, Drew was born March 27, 1991 at Dover, Ohio.
Drew graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 2010 and during his time in school, he enjoyed wrestling and playing baseball. He was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed fishing and riding four wheelers. Drew could often be found “turning wrenches” while working on cars.
He is survived by his father Richard Hutchison (companion, Michelle) of Beach City and his mother and step-father, Terry and Phillip Barbee of Mineral City; his siblings, Chad Franklin and Erika (fiancé, Ryan Moore) Hutchison; his nieces and nephews, Chad, Weston, Kamarie, Amelia, Adeline and an expected nephew who will be named, Andrew; his grandparents, Linda and Jack Durham, Allen and Cheryl Franklin, Sandra Hutchison and Judith Barbee; his aunts and uncles, Tammy (Jon) Jones, Jay (Shannon) Franklin, Jessica (Billy) Durham, Jacklyn (Peter) Durham, Ivan (Emily) Dressler, Steve (Holly) Hutchison, Lori (Chris) Ricklic and Lori (Pete) Popa as well as many cousins and dear friends whom he considered family.
Drew was preceded in death by a brother, Nathan Gribble; his grandfathers, Don Hutchison and Robert Barbee, his great-grandmother, Loretta Grove and step-mother, Nettie Hutchison
Cremation has taken place and the family will greet guests during a public visitation on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A memorial service will be held privately with Pastor Tom Cunningham officiating.
