Rena Vae Wright, 83, of Dover, passed away in her residence on August 10, 2017, following complications from Parkinson’s Disease.
Born on April 14, 1934 in Port Washington, O., she was the daughter of the late Doy and Ada M. (Stout) Sergent.
Rena Vae married her loving husband, the late Keith Wright, in 1952. Together they were blessed with the birth of five children. They loved to travel and were members at Barrs Mill Church of God in Sugarcreek.
Rena Vae graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1952. After completing her formal education, she started Wright Draperies and worked in that capacity for more than 40 years. She was an excellent seamstress also. She would help her husband work on a car and then bake one of her famous pies, all in the same day.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Diane (Tom) Elmore of Leesville, David (Tammy) Wright, Connie (Ben) Reynolds, Debbie Jo Immel, Scott (Lori) Wright, all of Dover; her grandchildren, Terri Jo (Jay), Ericka (David), Tyler (Deborah), Brittany, Katie, Jared, and Camryn; great-grandchildren, Kaleigh, Malachai, Somer, David, Noah, Alex, and Lukas; her sister, Treva Septer; and her in-laws, Elaine (Raymond) Thomas, Linda (Bob) Hughes, and Dave (Donna) Wright.
In addition to her parents and husband, Keith; she was preceded in death by her grandson, Bryan; her siblings, Ervin, Chris, Rita, Wayne.
A Memorial Service will be held in Barrs Mill Church of God, 4677 OH-93, Sugarcreek, OH 44681, at 6 pm on August 17, 2017. Private inurnment will be held at a later date alongside her husband.
