Regina Paisley, age 85, of Mineral City, died peacefully, early Tuesday morning April 5, 2011 in the Hennis Care Center at Bolivar.A daughter of the late Charles V. and Ansenefta Elish Montan, Regina was born at New Philadelphia on November 10, 1925. She was a 1943 graduate of Midvale High School and worked as a Tile Inspector at East Sparta Ceramic until her retirement in 1988.On April 26, 1947, Regina married the love of her life, Donald Joseph “Joe” Paisley and together the couple reared two children.Regina was a long-time member of the Tabor Ridge Community Church at Fairfield Township. She enjoyed working out of doors caring for her lawn and flower gardens, reading and crocheting. Additionally, she enjoyed looking after animals and was most fond of her dog, Babe. For the past decade, Regina has been a foster grandmother for the New Philadelphia Schools where she assisted children at Tuscarawas and West Elementary schools through the C.O. A. D. program.Surviving are a daughter, Rebecca Brimager of Mineral City; a daughter-in-law, Anita Paisley also of Mineral City, and a sister-in-law, Lucille Montan of Minerva. Three grandchildren, Joseph A. (Mickey) Brimager, Jamie R. Arbogast, and her fiancé, Willard Kieffer and Sean C. Paisley; eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews complete the family.In addition to her parents, Regina was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, on November 25, 1987; a son, Daniel R. Paisley on May 5, 1996; a special niece, Mari Feightling; four brothers and three sisters.Pastors Clarence Miller and John Dunn will lead a graveside service celebrating Regina’s life on Friday, April 8, 2011, at 2:00 PM in the St. Matthews Cemetery on Tabor Ridge Road. In keeping with Regina’s wishes there will be no public visitation prior to her service.Memorial contributions in Regina’s name may be directed to the Tabor Ridge Community Church, 33 ½ Ray Avenue NE, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
