Raymond W. Worrell, 66, of 203 West St., Baltic, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2002, in Walnut Hills Nursing Home at Walnut Creek after an extended illness.Born April 13, 1936, in Washington Court House, he was a son of the late Elmer Franklin and Florence Cleo Worrell.He retired in 1987 as owner of Worrell Plumbing and Electric at Baltic and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church at Baltic.He is survived by his wife, the former Carol Brink, whom he married July 24, 1958. Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Brent (Wanda Rae) Villard of Dalton; two sons, Steven (Jody) Worrell of Grand Haven, Mich., and Timothy B. Worrell of Philadelphia, Pa.; four grandchildren, Helen, Rachael and Frank Worrell and Adam Villard; one sister, Mrs. Ruben (Joan) Bencomo of Valrico, Fla.; and one brother, James (Ruth) Worrell of Washington Court House.He was preceded in death by two sisters, Sabra Hill and Mary Worrell, and a brother, Wiley.In keeping with Ray’s wishes, cremation will take place and a private memorial service will be held Friday, Oct. 11, 2002, in St. John Lutheran Church at Baltic with Rev. David Hammell officiating. Smith-Geib Funeral Home in Baltic is handling the arrangements.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, PO Box 272, Baltic, O. 43804.
