Raymond Michael “Ray” Miller, age 41, of Uhrichsville, died late Sunday evening, December, 2, 2007 in Aultman Hospital at Canton following a sudden illness. Born at Batavia, New York, December 3, 1965, he was a son of Paul and Norma Sprankle Miller, who reside at Malvern. Ray graduated from Malvern High School in 1984, and from ’84 to 1988, he served honorably in the United States Army. At the time of his death, Raymond was employed by Rolite Plastics at Dover. When not at work, he loved to spend time with his family and friends. He enjoyed playing games with his family, fishing and golfing. In addition to his parents, Ray leaves behind a family that includes his wife, the former, Michelle L. Wease, of Uhrichsville, whom he married June 28, 2004; three children, Melissa, age 17, of the home, Michaela, age 11, of the home, and Michael, age 10, also of the home. A sister, Lisa Miller and companion Scott Wiggins, of Minerva; a brother, Paul & Kim Miller, also of Minerva, his mother and father-in-law Roy and Jane Wease of Uhrichsville, and two nieces, Julia Miller and Brittani Wiggins, complete the family. Friends are invited to call Thursday, December 6, from 2-4 and from 6-8 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Cremation will follow through the care of Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory. Those unable to attend are invited to share memories and condolences with the family by visiting the funeral home’s website. A fund has been established at the Dover-Phila Federal Credit Union, The Miller Children’s Fund, for the benefit of his three youngsters.
