Randa Espenschied

Randa Lynn Espenschied, 64, of Dover, died Sunday, December 22, 2013 at the Aultman Compassionate Care Center in Canton following a courageous battle with cancer.

A daughter of Helen M. (Dummermuth) Randolph and the late Robert Z. Randolph, Randa was born January 29, 1949 in Dover, Ohio.

Randa graduated from Dover High School in 1967 and along with her husband, Jim, she was the owner and operator of The New Company for more than 30 years. She enjoyed playing cards, quilting and embroidery in her spare time.

She is survived by her husband, James Frederick Espenschied whom she married on December 27, 1973; her daughter, Amanda Espenschied-Reilly ;her son-in-law Troy Reilly; her granddaughter Alana Reilly; two sisters, Rita Brady and Robin Randolph both of Dover and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Randa’s wishes there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of the Geib Funeral Center at Dover. Inurnment will be held in Dover Burial Park at a later date.
