Ralph Henry Hutzel

Ralph Henry Hutzel Sr., 55, of Newcomerstown, died Monday, June 15, 2015 in Community Hospice House at New Philadelphia following a period of declining health.

A son of Ralph L. Hutzel of Newcomerstown and the late Iretha Gertrude “Weedy” (Rosenberger) Hutzel, Ralph was born December 5, 1959 at Morgantown, West Virginia.

Ralph was a country boy at heart who enjoyed the outdoors. He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all he was a loving father and grandfather who cherished spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his father he is survived by his children, Ralph Henry (Amanda) Hutzel Jr. of Stone Creek, Dolly (Brian) Shaffer, Kelly (finace, Chris Adamik) Hutzel and Jesse Wayne Hutzel all of Newcomerstown and Joseph Hutzel of Medina; family friend, Laurie Laribee of Medina; his grandchildren, Jasmine Mizer, Ralph Henry Hutzel III, Joseph Michael Hutzel, Justice Jade Hinkle, Christopher Zane Adamik and Kacee Rae Adamik; and his siblings, Sandy (Clyde) Wright of Newcomerstown, Diane Sauerbrey of Shady Bend, Ohio and Bonnie (Joe) Boor Calhoun of Newcomerstown.

Ralph was preceded in death by his mother and a sister, Donna Marie Hutzel.

In keeping with Ralph’s wishes there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral & Crematory at New Philadelphia.
