Phyllis Fisher

Phyllis Roberta Fisher, 89, of Dover, passed away peacefully in her home under the care of Mercy Hospice on May 10, 2024.

Born in East Canton on July 30, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Frank Morgan and Lena Rose (Bowman) Knipp.

After completing her formal education, she married the late Richard Carl Fisher on March 10, 1956 in Brooksville, Indiana. 

Phyllis worked for Sparta Ceramic and was also a self-employed house cleaner for numerous years.

Her faith was nurtured at the First Baptist Church in New Philadelphia.

Phyllis is survived by her children including Karla (Craig) Best of Cadiz, Robert Fisher, and Carl Fisher of Dover; grandchildren, Scott, Nathan, and Richard Fisher.

In addition to her parents and husband, Phyllis was preceded in passing by siblings, Elizabeth, Francis, Barbara, Gladys, and Eileen.

Cremation will be cared for through Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory. No public visitation or services will be held.
