Phillip Lynn Gribble

Phillip Lynn Gribble, 58, of West Lafayette, died Monday, March 31, 2014 in Aultman Hospital at Canton while surrounded by his loving family.

The beloved son of the late Roland R. and Eula Mae (Blackwell) Gribble, Phillip was born February 9, 1956 in Union Hospital at Dover.

Phillip resided at Lafayette Meadows where he attended the workshop and was a past participant in the Special Olympics. He enjoyed baseball and was a fan of the Cleveland Indians. He also enjoyed listening to music and always had a radio nearby as well as the company of his family and going out to eat with them.

He is survived by a sister, Bonnie (Wes) Jordan of Powell, Ohio; a brother, Dan (Crystal) Gribble of Dover; a brother-in-law, Gerald Barker of Uhrichsville; several nieces and nephews and many dear friends and caregivers at Lafayette Meadows who lovingly cared for him over the last 34 years.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, LaVonne Barker.

Private family services will be held and interment will take place in Dover Burial Park.
