Paul G. Garber

Paul G. Garber, 87, of Strasburg, died August 26, 2006, at Hennis Care Center of Bolivar.Paul was born in Strasburg on October 25, 1918, to the late Ray and Edith Garber.He retired from Gradall in 1982 and was a farmer all of his life. Paul served in the South Pacific Theatre in the U.S. Army during World War II.Paul is survived by his children, Gary (Tooie) Garber of Strasburg, Marlene Barnhart of Waynesburg, Adena (Ken) Myers of Strasburg, Richard (Lori) Garber of Strasburg, Jack (Tanya) Garber of Strasburg and Tim (Kelly) Garber of Strasburg; grandsons, Jacob Myers, Race Garber, Lucas Garber and Caleb Garber; granddaughters, Nikola Garber, Bindy (Matt) Lancaster, Amber Garber, Elizabeth (Ryan) Dean, Talia Garber, Katie (Bryan) Vickers and Lisa Garber; two great-grandsons.In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife Margery, one granddaughter, Malia Myers, one son-in-law, Gerald Barnhart and one sister.In keeping with Paul’s wishes cremation has been conducted at Geib Funeral Home & Crematory. There will be no visitation or funeral service observed.The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Tuscarawas County, 201 W.
