Patty Lue Watson

Patty Lue (Preston) Watson, age 71, of Dover passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011 in Union Hospital at Dover following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Muskingum County on September 9, 1939, she was a daughter of the late James Leroy and Emma Jane (Whyde) Preston.Patty was a gracious lady full of love and compassion for those around her. She greatly enjoyed sitting and talking with her family and friends on any occasion. She is survived by her sons, John (Amy) Watson, Jr, and Jason Leroy Watson; her daughter, Rebecca Watson; and her sisters, Hazel Marie (James O.) Holdsworth and Dora Stella Kaser, both of Coshocton.Completing the family are grandchildren; J.T, Brian, Tiffany, Tayna, Korben, Mackenzie, Gavin, Dylan, Austin, and Ava and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in her death husband, John T. Watson, who died August 1, 2011; her sister, Betty Jane Wolfe; and her brother, James Willard Preston. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 1, 2011, from 5:00 Â? 8:00 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A private burial service in the Coshocton Memorial Gardens will be led by Pastor Don Snow.
