Patricia Ruth McGraw McIntosh, age 65 of Dover, died Wednesday, July 23, 2014 in Hennis Care Center at Dover.
Born at Dover, Ohio on July 9, 1949, Pat was a daughter of the late Arthur Patrick and Wilma Ruth (Border) McGraw.
In 1974, Pat relocated to San Diego, California where she was employed by Scripps Hospital and Home Health at LaJolla and Sharps Home Health at San Diego, where she oversaw the Mom and Baby Postpartum Program. Following her retirement, she moved back to Ohio in 2000, she attended St. Joseph Catholic Church at Dover. In her free time, Pat enjoyed sewing, reading, caring for pets, making crafts and attending craft shows.
She is survived by her brothers, Arthur (Caroline) McGraw of Dover, Dan McGraw of Sandusky, Tim (Lynn) McGraw of Phoenix, Arizona, a nephew, whom she thought of as a son, Eddie McIntosh of Lompoc, California; Special friends, Lorraine Lacher of New Philadelphia and Glenda Mosshart of Sandusky; Nieces and nephews, Carol McGraw of Dover, Danny (Amy) McGraw of Strasburg, Tammy (Bill) Fish, Matt (Natasha) McGraw, Josh McGraw all of Bolivar, Sheila Varner of St. Helens, Oregon, and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and longtime friends in California.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by a niece, Debbie McGraw; a nephew, Phillip McGraw and a great-nephew, Adam Sallee.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 28, 2014 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Father Jimmy Hatfield will lead a memorial service celebrating Pat’s life in the funeral home’s chapel on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 10:30 AM. Inurnment will follow in St. Joseph Calvary Cemetery at Dover.
