Patricia Louise Anderson

Patricia Louise “Patty” Anderson, age 82, of New Philadelphia, died early Friday, August 13, 2021, in Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital at Dover.

Born on September 4, 1938, in Twin City Hospital at Dennison, Patty was a daughter of the late William J. and Jane A. Harriff Fetters.

She was a graduate of the former Dover High School and on December 8, 1957, married Ralph Anderson. Together the couple had four children and shared in 57 years of marriage prior to his death on January 8, 2015.

For many years Patty was a member of the Customer Service Team at the New Philadelphia K-Mart Store and retired as an STNA from Hennis Care Center at Dover. Her faith was nurtured at the Goshen Community Church of the Nazarene. Patty enjoyed playing Bingo, being with her family, supporting their activities in any way she was able and caring for her beloved dogs.

She is survived by her family that includes her children, Ralph “Randy” (Vicki) Anderson of Canton, Rick (Joe Jardine) Anderson of Powell and Tammy (Gary) McLaughlin of New Philadelphia; a daughter-in-law, Dawn Anderson of New Philadelphia, and a sister, Helen Endres of Florida. Completing the family are eight grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Patty was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Anderson, and a brother, Bill Fetters.

A service celebrating Patty’s life will be led by Pastor Lee Randolph, on Monday, August 16, 2021, at 1:30 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia with the family greeting guests one hour prior to the service from12:30 – 1:30 PM. Burial will follow in the Schoenbrunn Meadow Cemetery at New Philadelphia.
