Patricia Lee Greer

Patricia Lee Greer, 71 of New Philadelphia, died Monday, March 29, 2004, in Doctor’s Hospital, in Massillon, O.Born May 28, 1932 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late Roy B. and Marie Sullivan Johnson Jr. Patricia was a homemaker for most of her life, and took pride in rearing a family together with her late husband John M. Greer Sr., whom she married on December 27, 1948. After forty-three years of marriage, John preceded Patricia in death on October 7, 1992. Three sons survive, Robert R. (Julie) Greer of New Philadelphia; John M. (Connie) Greer Jr. of Arcadia, Co; and David B. (Brenda) Greer of Herando, Fl.; grandchildren Laura, Kristi, Tasha, Danielle, Michael, and Taya; seven great-grandchildren and a sister, Barbara (George) Rinard of Pasadena, Md.Cremation will be conducted locally through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory of New Philadelphia. Private family services will be held. There are no calling hours. The Greer family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Tuscarawas County Senior Center’s Building Fund, 233, West Third Street, Dover, OH, 44622.
