Patricia Jo Day

Patricia Jo Day, age 66, of Uhrichsville, died Saturday, August 28, 2021, in Cleveland Clinic following a brief illness.

Born on September 4, 1954, in Dover, Ohio Pat was a daughter of the late Joseph S. and Lois M. Eberly Day.

She was a graduate of the former Indian Valley North High School and spent many years as a bus driver and home health care aide. She also worked for a handful of years at Republic Steel and Kleen Test in Strasburg.

Pat loved fishing, swimming, camping, cooking, cheering on the Cleveland Browns, caring for her Dog, BoBo, anything John Wayne, and being with her friends.

She will be missed by her sisters, Vickie Hykes of New Philadelphia and Christine Arnold of Uhrichsville as well as many nieces and nephews and their families.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by a brother Gregory Day; a brother and sister-in-law, Douglas and Marilee Day; two brothers-in-law, Franklin Hykes and Jerry Arnold; and her best friend, Louise Henry.

Private graveside services will be held in the Dover Burial Park. The Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia is handling cremation care.
