Patricia Irene Stropky Myers

Patricia Irene Stropky Myers, age 64, of Baltic died Sunday, February 13, 2011, in Union Hospital following an apparent heart attack.A daughter of the late Michael and Katherine Sullivan Stropky, Patricia was born in Union Hospital at Dover on February 6, 1947.She was a graduate of New Philadelphia High School and went on to be employed by Bay-Roid Oil and Driling, Flickinger Pipe Company at Dover, and National Payroll Advance.Patricia enjoyed craft work which included basket weaving and wreath making. She also enjoyed dancing, traveling and caring for the love of her life, Calvin Myers, whom she married on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2004.In addition to Calvin, Patricia will be missed by two brothers, Steve, wife Elaine, Stropky of Dover and Stan Stropky of New Philadelphia. Six step-children, whom she loved and cared for as her own, as well as numerous step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren complete the family. Also surviving are numerous special nieces, nephews and cousins.A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, February 18, 2011, in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home from 4:00 â?? 7:00 pm.The family request memorial contributions in Patricia’s name may be directed to Community Hospice of Tuscarawas County, 201 W Third Street, Dover, Ohio 44622.
