Patricia Ann Henninge

Patricia Ann Henninge, age 90, of Park Village Dover and formerly of New Philadelphia, died early Tuesday, February 18, 2025. 

Born in Oil City Pennsylvania on April 3, 1934, Pat was a daughter of the late Arthur Ray and Mary Edna Toole Moon. 

Pat was a 1952 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and on June 13, 1953, married Donald Allen Henninge and together the couple shared in 67 years of marriage prior to Donald’s death on August 3, 2020. As a couple, they enjoyed traveling the country in their motorhome.  

Professionally, Pat worked as a Nursing Unit Clerk for more than 20 years in Union Hospital at Dover. She was a longtime member of the United Church of Christ at New Philadelphia and in addition to traveling she loved spending time with her grandchildren.  

She is survived by her sons, Patrick (Marsha) Henninge of Dover, Philip (Cynthia) Henninge of Cape Coral, Florida and Michael (Jennifer) Henninge of Dover; her grandchildren, Chris (Abigail McFeeders) Henninge, Cody (Brianne) Henninge, Taylor (Becca Chamberlain) Henninge, Marlee (Mari McNeary) Henninge, Marissa (James Kerr) Henninge, Kaitlynn (Jason Tonn) Henninge and Makayla (Austin Kostco) Henninge; her great-grandchildren, Neiko, Rayme, Evalynn, Carolynn and Mark; a sister, Ellen (Richard) Bellanco of Wooster; a sister-in-law, Jan Moon of Mesa, Arizona and many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Pat was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Moon. 

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of the Geib Funeral Center at Dover.
