Patricia Ferry

Patricia Louise Ferry, 78, formerly of Atwood Lake, passed away in Mt. Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville on Sunday evening, September 6, 2015.

Born in Canton on October 18, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Henry Edward and Josephine Cecilia (Gallas) Frankovich.

After graduating from high school, she married her husband, Nicholas Michael Ferry, Jr. on September 4, 1954. She was blessed with the birth of her five children and spent her lifetime caring for her family.
Patricia’s faith was nurtured at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Mineral City, Sacred Heart Church in New Philadelphia, and St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Westerville.

She will be deeply missed by her children including Nicholas (Beverly) Ferry, III, of Wabash, Indiana, Susan (Tom) Bailey of Williamsport, O., Patrick Ferry of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Carol Ferry and Stephanie Ferry, both of Columbus; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Deborah Weaver of West Warwick, Rhode Island.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas; and her aunts, Mary Citavicius and Annie Frankovich.

Visitation will be held Friday morning from 9:00 to 11:15 in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Father Jeff Coning will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church beginning at 11:30. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery at New Philadelphia.

Friends and friends are invited to the Geib Family Center following the committal service where a meal will be shared.
