Patricia Ann Lahmers

Patricia Ann Lahmers, 69, of Strasburg, died Friday, June 29, 2007 in Aultman Hospital at Canton following a courageous battle with cancer.A daughter of the late William and Thelma (Bonifant) Charnock, Patricia was born October 29, 1937 at New Philadelphia, Ohio.Patricia was a member of Indian Meadow Church of God at Dover and she was employed as a housekeeper at Hennis Care Center at Dover for more than 15 years.She enjoyed many different hobbies such as cooking, sewing, tending to her gardens and playing Bunco. But most of all, Patricia loved her family and friends who will remember her as such a caring and loving person. She deeply cherished her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading stories to them and even telling them made up stories.Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Earl Lahmers, whom she married on September 13, 1959 at Uhrichsville, Ohio; two daughters and sons-in-law, Robin and Gary Petrullo and Lisa and Peter Lengyel both of Dover; three grandchildren,, Ciana and Gannon Petrullo and Carrigan Lengyel; three sisters, Norma Cerana, Marjorie Lee and Debbie (Mike) Thomas and three brothers, Charles “Ed” (Nancy) Charnock, William “Red” Charnock and Robert “Bobby” (Beverly) Charnock. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Dorothy McCoy and one brother, Jimmy Charnock.Family and friends may call on Monday, July 2, 2007 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover. A funeral service celebrating Patricia’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Geib Funeral Center with Rev. Louise Worsham officiating.
