Pamela Jo Ghee, age 64, of New Philadelphia, died early Friday, July 22, 2022, while in the care of Community Hospice’s Truman House following a period of declining health.
Born in Union Hospital at Dover on February 24, 1958, Pam was a daughter of Sandra Rainsburg Sears of New Philadelphia and the late Donald Sears.
Pam attended Tusky Valley High School and later obtained her GED. Professionally, she was employed as a Nurse’s Aide at the former Morning View Care Center and the former County Home prior to its closing. She also worked as a clerk at the former Clark Gas Station in New Philadelphia.

In addition to her mother, Pam will be deeply missed by her husband of 42 years, Randy Ghee; their three daughters, Tabitha (Luke) Firebaugh of Bowerston, Brandi (Gary) Hampton, and Alisha (fiancée, Brian Spargrove) all of New Philadelphia; her beloved grandchildren, Wyatt, Garrett, Kenzie, Skylar, Aiden, Gavin, Zane, and Hunter. Completing the family are her siblings, Marcella Sears of New Philadelphia, Katherine (Bobby) Ravenscroff of East Sparta, and Daniel (Consuela) Sears; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Tim (Brenda) Ghee of Dover, Tom Ghee of Canton, Eva Ghee of Mineral City, and Tina (Kenny) McNutt of New Philadelphia; and her best friend, Patty Anderson as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, Pam was preceded in death by a brother, D. R. Sears.
In keeping with her wishes, private family services will be held. The Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia is handling cremation care.
