Pamela J. Breehl, 64, of New Philadelphia, passed away May 6, 2017 in Union Hospital at Dover following a sudden illness.
Born in Dover on April 17, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Shirley (Hunt) Russell.
After graduating from Indian Valley North High School, she was a loyal employee of Union Hospital as a pharmacy technician for numerous years until her recent retirement.
On September 8, 1973, Pam married Charles E. “Chuck” Breehl. Together they were blessed with the birth of their two children, Heather and David.
Pam devoted her life to her family. She greatly enjoyed morning coffee at the mall with her sisters and special friends, and their Sunday morning breakfasts. The title of “mama” was of most importance to Pam. She loved to be in her granddaughters’ presence and support them, whether at a sporting event or just enjoying time together. When she was at home, Pam’s dogs took priority.
Pam will be deeply missed by her husband, Chuck; her children, Heather (Perry) Nave of Strasburg and David Breehl of New Philadelphia; her granddaughters, Taylor and Emalee; her step-grandson, Devin Nave; her sisters, Shari (Danny) Kohler and Paula (JD) Wemple; and her special nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by her infant brother, David Russell; and her grandma, Laura Hunt.
A private service will take place later this week and inurnment will follow in Calvary Cemetery at New Philadelphia.
