Ola J. Click, 84, of Dover, died peacefully in Hennis Care Center at Dover following a period of declining health.
Born in War, West Virginia on August 30, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Jess Lee and Gertrude (Harmon) Beavers.
After finishing her educational career, Ola worked as a laborer in factories.
Ola enjoyed crocheting, needlepointing, and working crossword puzzles. Her faith was nurtured at the Pentecostal church.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Delores (John) Nunnery of Tennessee; her sons, Melvin “Doug” Click of Wisconsin and Robert Click of Dover; and her grandchildren, Michael Cruz, Lisa Cruz-Schroeder, Tracey Coughton, Matthew Nunnery, Kerri Paschall, Jaimie Severson, Mason Click, Megan Click, and Harley Jo Click; and 27 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Ola was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin E. Click; and her 3 brothers, Roy, Robert, and Graham Beavers; and her granddaughter, Abigail Click.
Visitation will be held in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover on Thursday, September 26, 2013 from 10 to 11 a.m. with a service beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Dover Burial Park.
