Nora J. Elder

Nora went to be with our Lord on May 1, 2020. She fought a long and courageous battle against Leukemia, and we are still in awe and inspired by her positive attitude and her will to beat the disease. Nora’s light of her life was her son and her two grandchildren who she loved dearly.

She graduated from Oakwood High School and lived in Canton. Nora was the daughter of the late Carl and Betty Russo of North Canton. She leaves behind so many that loved and cared for her deeply; her son, Shawn Appleman (Crystal) of Sandusky, two grandchildren Miles and Lilly Appleman; brothers, Ray (Linda) Russo of North Canton, Mike Russo of North Canton, Jon (Wendy) Russo of Clinton; sisters, Carla (Phillip) Scholz of North Canton and Tina Nardecchia of Canton; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. We take comfort Nora is resting in peace with her two loves, Ginger and Tia.
