Noah Alan Shoup

Noah Alan Shoup, 2, of New Philadelphia, the beloved son of Douglas and Kristen Shoup passed away suddenly, Thursday, May 11, 2006 at Akron Children’s Hospital.Noah was born March 12, 2004, at Mercy Medical Center, in Canton.Noah loved bubbles, noisy toys, playing outside, bath time and his brother’s trains. He adored his big brother. Noah was and forever will be our little angel.In addition to his parents, he is survived by a big brother, Evan Shoup; maternal grandparents, Larry (aka Larry Karoll) and Joyce Kolakowski; paternal grandparents, Doyle and Judy Shoup, all of New Philadelphia; maternal great grandmother, Irene Kolakowski, of Long Island, NY; paternal great grandmother, Fannie Shoup, of Mt. Eaton; aunt, Jenny Shoup; uncles, Donny Kolakowski, Philip Shoup, Brandon Shoup and friend Tiffany Veselenak, and cousin, Danielle Shoup, all of New Philadelphia and many other friends and family members.Noah was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Sylvester and Pauline Eckenrode, Joseph Kolakowski, Robert and Donna Swisshelm and Melvin Shoup and by a special Uncle Bobby Swisshelm.Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2006, from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in Sacred Heart Church, with Msgr. George Schlegel and Pastor Dwight Mason officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at New Philadelphia. A memorial reception will be held at J.I.M.S Place following the committal.
