Nina Ruth Reynolds

Nina Ruth Reynolds, 92, of Bowerston, died suddenly on Monday, December 14, 2015 at her home.

A daughter of the late Dallas and Edna Barrett, Nina was born July 1, 1923 at Parkersburg, West Virginia

Nina was an avid sports fan and enjoyed crocheting and reading in her later years. She also enjoyed dining out especially at Applebee’s. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Jane (Jim) Smith of Bowerston; her son, Frank (Lauren) Reynolds of Holland, Ohio; her grandchildren, Juli (Chad) Shaw of Gnadenhutten, Missy (Jason) Helter of Tippecanoe, Laramie and Wyatt Reynolds of Holland, Ohio, Tim (Casey) Reynolds of LaGrange, Kentucky and Nic (Marty) Reynolds of Dennison; nine great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Charlotte Barrett of Parkersburg, West Virginia.

Nina was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Harding Reynolds whom she married on October 25, 1946; a daughter, Carolyn Reynolds; a son, John Reynolds; a grandson, Craig Page; four sisters and two brothers.

In keeping with Nina’s wishes there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Inurnment will take place in Union Cemetery at Uhrichsville.
