Nicole Fay Raderchak

August 20, 1993 — October 22, 2014

Nicole Fay Raderchak, age 21, of Pittsburgh, died unexpectedly in the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 following a sudden illness.

A daughter of Troy and Vallya (Wright) Raderchak, Nicole was born in Aultman Hospital at Canton on August 20, 1993.

She was a 2011 graduate of Strasburg Franklin Schools and the Buckeye Career Center, where she studied and excelled in Graphic Design. Nicole was active in the Strasburg marching band as a percussionist and had a deep passion for music and lyrics. She had a gifted eye for art design and loved photography, having taken senior pictures for some of her family members. She also enjoyed writing and reading; she had a gift for finding meaning and applying life to many of the quotes which she read.

Just over a year ago, she relocated to Pittsburgh to be with friends, it was there she began exploring the city and fell in love with its surrounding culture. She began to blossom and make new friends, working very hard to survive on her own. She fell in love with the idea of camping, being out of doors, having fun and living her life to the fullest. Most recently, Nicole was talking of pursuing a long-time passion in cosmetics and hairstyling by attending cosmetology school.

Her beautiful eyes and infectious smile will be deeply missed by her parents, Troy and Vallya; her sister, Taylor Raderchak of the home; her grandmothers, Karen Wright and Carolyn Raderchak both of Strasburg; her aunts and uncles, John (Renea) Wright of Millersburg, Shawn Nicewander of Strasburg, JoLynn (Todd) Papuga of New Philadelphia, Erik Raderchak of strasburg and Joe (Lisa) Zalesky of New Philadelphia, numerous cousins and many long-time friends.

Nicole was preceded in death by an infant brother, Cody Raderchak, her maternal grandfather, John Wright, and paternal grandparents, Joseph Zalesky, Linda Marion and Larry Raderchak.

Friends are invited to share in memorial visitation on Wednesday October 29, 2014 from 3:00 – 6:00 PM in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover where Pastor Brian Flood will lead a service celebrating Nicole’s life at 6:00 PM.
