Nick L. France

Nick L. France, 20, of Wainwright, died Friday, March 8, 2002. Born in Dover, he was the son of Fred A. and Bonnie A. Hill France of Wainwright. He was a 1999 graduate of Indian Valley High School and was employed by Gross Welding and Fabricating Company in New Philadelphia. An avid outdoorsman, Nick loved hunting and fishing, was a member of Bass Masters and was a master at muskie fishing.In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Jill L. France of Kent; maternal grandparents, Carl and Doris Hill of Wainwright; paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Linda France of Dover and Thomas Haldeman of Gnadenhutten; his beloved dogs, Ralph and Larry and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. His grandmother, Gloria Haldeman preceded him in death.A time of remembrance will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2002 at 4:00 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Jones officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 PM in the funeral home. In keeping with his wishes, Nick’s body will be cremated and burial will be at a later date. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Tuscarawas County Humane Society, 2143 Prysi Road NW, Sugarcreek, Ohio, 44681.
