Nettie Bober

Nettie Bober, 93, of Dover and formerly of New Philadelphia, died Saturday, February 09, 2008 in Country Club Retirement Campus at Dover.A daughter of the late Fred and Marie (Mares) Wagner, Nettie was born June 2, 1914 at New Philadelphia, Ohio.Nettie attended New Philadelphia Schools and over the years she was employed by various businesses. She had worked for the former Belmont Enameling Company, then as a cook for the former Valley Manor Nursing Home and the Dutch Oven Restaurant.On November 2, 1957 at New Philadelphia, Nettie married Tony Bober. The couple shared 43 years of marriage prior to Tony’s passing on July 23, 2001.She is survived by her children, Twila (Dick) Edwards and Tom (Lucy) Jones both of New Philadelphia; five granddaughters, Kandy (Donny) Duleskey, Gayle (Larry) LeMasters, Jamie Cooper, Tiffany (Craig) Meek all of New Philadelphia and Sharon Wallick of Elmirage, Arizona; four great grandchildren, Ed Campbell of Dover, Jasmine Meuhlen of Elmirage, Arizona and Morgan Colletti and Branden Wallick both of New Philadelphia; one great-great granddaughter, Mya Harrell of Elmirage, Arizona, one sister, Ann Wagner of New Philadelphia and one brother, Fred Wagner.Nettie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Tony; two sisters, Louise Stevens and Molly Jones and two brothers, Joe and Frank Wagner.In keeping with Nettie’s wishes, cremation will take place under the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Private family services will be held at a later date.
