Nathan Daniel Hagey

Nathan Daniel Hagey, 45, of New Philadelphia, passed away peacefully, in his sleep, on July 11, 2024 , at his residence. 

Nathan was the son of Danny L. and LuAnn (Smith) Hagey of New Philadelphia and was a 1998 graduate of New Philadelphia High School. He was the Owner and Operator of EBH Trucking at New Philadelphia and dedicated himself to his work with passion and diligence by obtaining his Class A CDL License, showcasing his commitment to personal and professional growth.

Nathan will fondly be remembered for his love of driving and cherished every opportunity to be behind the wheel. His enthusiasm for cars was evident, especially when he had the chance to drive his beloved 1990 Acura Integra. Whether it was for work or leisure, Nathan found joy in the open road.

Beyond his career achievements, Nathan's true pride and joy were his children. Described as an outstanding father, he showered them with love, care, and unwavering support. Nathan's presence at their sporting events was a common sight; his children could always count on him to cheer them on with pride.

In addition to his parents, Nathan will be deeply missed by his daughter, Emalee Hagey and his son, Bryce Hagey, both of New Philadelphia; his sister, Tisha (Eric) Galloway and his nephew, Brandon Galloway, all of his cousins and his faithful K-9 companion, “Jake.”

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 beginning at 10 AM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home at New Philadelphia where a service celebrating Nathan’s life will begin at 11 AM with Pastor Mark Maddox officiating.

In keeping with Nathan’s wishes, following the funeral service, cremation care will be provided by the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory.
