Naomi Hill

Naomi Hill, 81, of Wainwright, died Saturday, March 31, 2012 in her home following a short illness.

A daughter of the late Carl and Margaret (Stress) Dahler, Naomi was born January 9, 1931 at Sugarcreek, Ohio.

Naomi was a member of Sharon Moravian Church and she enjoyed feeding the birds around her home.

She is survived by her son, Robert (Bonnie) Hill of New Philadelphia; a son-in-law, Jeff Burson of Wainwright; her grandchildren, Shelley, Sandra, Suzanne, Brian and Jason; her great grandchildren, Macey, Maddie, Clair, Justin, Sarah and Bobby and a brother, Walter Dahler of Dover.

Naomi was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Hill, her daughter, Peggy Burson, a sister, Viola and two brothers, Charles and Fritz.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 2, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service celebrating Naomi’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Dennis Rohn officiating. Burial will follow in Sharon Moravian Church Cemetery. Following the committal service, a luncheon will be held in the fellowship hall at Sharon Moravian Church.
