Nancy Rae Ritenour, 61, of Barnhill, died unexpectedly on Monday, May 21, 2007 in her home.A daughter of the late Floyd Scott and Betty (Wires) Spano, Nancy was born July 22, 1945 at Stillwater, OhioNancy, who was a member of Roxford United Methodist Church, enjoyed playing cards and watching birds and chipmunks while sitting on the porch at her home.She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Donald Eugene Ritenour, Sr; three daughters, Chris (J.R.) Howard of Uhrichsville, Carol Ritenour of Uhrichsville and Lisa (James) Stephenson of New Philadelphia; two sons, Donald Eugene Ritenour, Jr. of Uhrichsville and Tim (April) Ritenour of Mineral City; grandchildren, Robin and Ashley Ritenour, Kayla Howard, Tabithia Ritenour, Ashley Smith, Marc Howard, Justin Stephenson, Tim Ritenour, Jr and Sabrina Stephenson; two great-grandsons, Elijah Wilkes and Marques Page; four sisters, Pam (Joe) Rennicker, Barb (Victor) Hershey, Linda (Gary) Haney and Viv (Gordon) Flannigan and one brother, Larry (Kay) Whitlach.Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, Tony Spano and one sister, Joyce Tolotti.Family and friends may call on Friday, May 25, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service celebrating Nancy’s life will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Chapel with Rev. Bob Mathias officiating. Burial will follow in East Avenue Cemetery at New Philadelphia. Following the committal service, a memorial luncheon will be held in the Family Life Center at Roxford United Methodist Church.Memorial contributions may be made in Nancy’s honor to the American Cancer Society, 201-A West Ohio Avenue, Dover, OH 44622.
